The Gerling automatic precision brazing machine GLL uses servo technology for the handling of units. Setup times are quick due to few interchange parts for changeoever, which is handled mainly by data input into the machine control. A camera system is available to provide high-quality inspection, and machines include an industrial PC with touch screen and state of the art machine control technology utilizing Windows.
Sorting and feeding of tips can be accomplished through bowl feeder, laser camera system and longitudinal conveyor belts. Programmable features include flux dosing and solder shaping at the solder cutting station. Unbrazed circular saw bodies from the loading magazine are automatically picked up using a magnetic handling system.
